Product: Stila Silk Shimmer Gloss and Stila Silk Eye Shadow Wash

Once upon a time (okay, more like 2003), there was a pan of eyeshadow by Stila Cosmetics innocently named Kitten.  Seemingly subtle with a soft nude pedigree, this silky shadow quickly shot to fame after being the object of affection in the eyes of beauty editors and A-listers alike.  Something about its warm, shimmering and universally-flattering hue (a blend of three soft pearls) seemed to get everybody hot and bothered.  It remains one of the brand’s bestsellers to this day.

So it’s a no-brainer that Stila decided to capitalize on that sought-after shade, and have recently expanded the line to different categories.

We’re welcoming with open arms (and pursed lips) the Silk Shimmer Gloss and Silk Eye Shadow Wash.  Both come in the sheer golden-pink shade, and deposit a lovely light to the area.  We’re particularly fond of the handy application method: easy sponge-tipped brushes that deposit colour quickly and accurately.
