The “Mainstage” as they call it at Performance Works on Granville Island was all a buzz with excitement for the second night of B.C. fashion week to kick off. The Jacqueline Conoir show was full of fashion-hungry folk who were served up a Spring 2008 collection that was delicious in colour, texture, and volume. It begun with simple, soft, flowing cotton/linen casual tailoring and weaned its way into sassier silhouettes in bold prints, and ended with bright solid bohemian style satin dresses, skirts and pussy bow blouses, in hot pink, canary yellow, and vibrant emerald green. It was a diverse, wearable collection with a dash of spice..
