Sounds like Fashion?

B.C. Fashion Week officially rang in with the Sound of Fashion party, held at Vancouver’s best known after-hours venue, Gorg-a-mish. Forget the usual dry, overcrowded, and sweaty scene.  This event was first class all the way, from the stunning contortionists, twisting in impossible ways, to the amped-up beat of djs Ali Sani and Marky.

And the best part of the affair? There was a mandatory dress code in effect – only fashionistas allowed (we kid, we kid!).  Still, it was the perfect night to take in all that Vancouver fashion has to offer.  Attendees came decked out and upping the chic quotient by completing their outfits with recycled rubber chokers, feathered fedoras, and metal waist-cinchers (ouch!).

And to top it off, the whole shindig was sponsored by Effen vodka and Black Velvet whisky!  With bangin’ beats, sexy entertainment, an impromptu fashion show, and cocktails to boot, this was one party not to be missed!
