Evan & Dean

The line-up stretched past the parking lot for the much anticipated Evan & Dean show. Even freelance stylist Ken Shapkin, who broke his ankle in preparation for fashion week, couldn’t miss what he refers to as a “must see event”, and the design duo did not disappoint.  Their use of contrast had a striking impact.  Shiny fabrics were mixed with matte, sharp lines were combined with rounded lines, and fitted tops were paired with voluminous skirts.

Overall, bold shapes, neutral colors, and incredible volume were the foundation of the collection. With stunning pieces like jackets with origami inspired details, tiered gowns and baggy trousers, Evan & Dean’s spring collection finished B.C. Fashion Week with a bang.
