George C

As the motto goes for Toronto’s boutique style-department store for men and women, “If you have wanted it, and until now couldn’t get it”, then George c is the place for you. Nestled in the heart of Yorkville, Toronto’s version of New York’s Fifth Avenue and L.A’s Rodeo Drive, george c has gone to great lengths to bring those must-have designer pieces from around the world to Canada every season. Carrying a plethora of designers from Derek Lam, Costume National and Neil Barret to Etro and Rocco P and an exclusive shoe collection from Italy, george c is a must-see in Toronto.

Located at 21 Hazelton Avenue, George C is a dynamic and welcoming shopping experience on three levels. Owners Lisa and George Corbo, famous for their Corbo boutique in Toronto, revealed how every detail of their store, from the sleek open-plan main floor to the every man’s subterranean fantasy closet complete with Victorian-era stone and mortor walls, beckons you to explore.

For men, George C carries an impressive line of hard-to-find pieces from the ready-to-wear collection by Costume National, Y3, Fabrizio del Carlo, and Italian suitings by Corneliani & Cortigiani.

For women, George C captures femininity, function, and elegant silhouettes with Neil Barret’s sharp, clean lines, Jan & Carlos fully fashioned knit-inspired separates , Project Alabama’s funky Ablique and embroidery and Zanone’s scrumptious mohair and cashmere knits. They also carry Denim by J-Brand, and the perfect tee by Poleci.

Canadian high-end labels recently making their debut at Toronto’s George C include coveted lines from Joeffer Caoc and Paul Hardy, both of whom are big names in both the Canadian and American fashion industries.
