Love it, Like it, or Leave it

Ardell has created a semi-permanent lash extension kit that costs only a fraction of the price of a salon. This kit contains individual lashes in three lengths, a pair of tweezers, the semi permanent lash adhesive, and the lash adhesive remover. Ardell boasts that these lashes will stay put for three weeks. Although a good idea in theory, ladies, let me tell you, there is a reason they have professionals that do this. If you have a couple of hours to spare and a steady hand, it might be worth your while to try attaching these impossible to grip lashes and place them exactly in between your existing lashes (without getting the glue on your natural lashes).  Each lash must be in line with the next or your eye will appear disproportioned and quite silly.  Make sure you don’t make any mistakes, or you’ll run a good chance at ripping off a good chunk of your natural lashes.

Once applied, though a little unnatural, they do look decent, but only if applied perfectly.  The three weeks this product is stated to last is, in reality, about three days — maybe longer if you don’t wash your face.

Verdict: Leave it. The trade: Three days of lush, long lashes for three weeks of bald spots on your eyes.
