Mia Melon is sweet and, in the summertime, when all we want to do is eat ice cream cones, walk on the beach, and hold hands with the cute boy next door, this label will make you look as adorable as you are.

“My inspiration was a child’s imagination,” says Polly Green, the design talent behind the Mia Melon label. Created with whimsical images like hot air balloons and old antique bicycle prints, it’s easy to go back to the days of riding bikes, swimming in the lake, and summertime slumber parties.

“My favourite part of spring fashion, especially right now, is being able to wear sheer fabrics in combination with loose silhouettes,” says Polly. “It makes for such a sexy simple look!”

The collection ranges between $40 for a t-shirt to $110 for a pair of pants. Mia Melon is available in Vancouver at Plenty, Pleasant Girl, Twigg & Hottie, Riot, and Fine Finds, in Calgary at Shiso Miso, in Edmonton at Colorblind, and in Toronto at Fraiche.
