According to Fashionista.com, the wealthy city (and capital of the United Arab Emirates) hosted the designer on November 17th as part of Abu Dhabi Fashion Week, preceding the launch of the hotly anticipated Valentino documentary. It appears that “retirement” means being busier than ever — at least for this style icon.

More Not-So-Model Behaviour …

Last month, GLOSS reported that British model Jodie Kidd had been dropped from several ad campaigns after it was leaked that she had sold drugs to undercover journalists. For this month’s installment of Not-So-Model Behaviour, we bring attention first to Hania Barton, the 19 year old sister of OC star Mischa Barton. Booked to walk the runway for fashion designer Daniel Darhan in his Los Angeles show, the youngster apparently showed up too drunk to even stand, and had to be replaced by another model. FashionWatch.com reports that the younger Barton has already completed one stint in rehab.

And now we turn to none other than Naomi Campbell. The (former) supermodel’s year spent curbing her notorious temper came to an end recently in London after she missed a transatlantic flight from Heathrow Airport. According to FashionWatch.com, the 37 year old, who was travelling alone, insisted on being admitted on board the flight, and when staff explained that she was too late, she exploded, stamped her foot, and unleashed a tirade of abuse. True, not so surprising — which makes us wonder who will help fill this column next month …
