GLOSS: What do you think people don’t know about fashion photographers?

TD: Being a runway photographer isn’t glamorous. The hardest part of shooting is trying to stake out prime real estate. If you arrive too late, you will have to shoot from an awkward angle. In order to stake a claim, you usually have to arrive at the tent an hour before the show starts.

GLOSS: Any final words of wisdom for budding photographers who want to cover the cat walks?

TD: Make sure you wear plenty of deodorant.
