Joeffer Caoc
ABDI OLOW
With a packed audience, Joeffer Caoc wowed the crowds once again at L’Oreal Fashion Week this year with another stellar collection full of beautiful pieces for the modern, career go-getting confident woman.
Focusing on dark colors and drapings, Joeffer cited the famous high end call girl Belle Du Jour as his inspiration. His clothes this season were perfection. From knit and leather toppers to feathered skirts and fur that could be paired with a plethora of options (dresses, skirts or tops), Joeffer went extravagant with some of his singular pieces this year. With his first foray into accessories, Joeffer explained in an interview with Gloss after his show how it was a natural progression for him to do accessories as the fabrics he worked with this season translated well into bags. Joeffers signature style of fusing simplicity with glamour was also apparent for Fall 2008 in full force in his gowns, jackets and gorgeous straight leg pants. If there is one thing Joeffer has mastered, it’s his ability to accentuate a women’s back. Those backs (the drappings on the back of his dresses) were to die for.
