New York, New York…
The highly anticipated release of
Sex and the City: The Movie
has been creating quite the stir in Manhattan. Early in March, Sarah Jessica Parker (the likeable Carrie Bradshaw) posed with Chris Noth (Mr. Big) in the sexiest city on earth for a Vogue photo shoot with famed photographer Annie Leibowitz.
Catherine Zeta-Jones has a vested interest in Elizabeth Arden. “I’m a stockholder, not just the face,” the Academy Award-winning actress told Women’s Wear Daily, who recently helped Elizabeth Arden celebrate its famous red door at The Elizabeth Arden Flagship Store in New York.
Derek Lam introduced the spring collection of eyewear at the Ilori Boutique in SoHo early this March. Attendees included Leigh Lezark, Isabel Dupré, and socialite Olivia Palermo.
Spring cleaning has come early for American designer Donna Karan, who edited her collection of furniture, jewelry, shoes, accessories, clothes, and couture gowns, to host a glorified garage sale at the Stephen Weiss Studio in Greenwich Village March 13 and 14. More than 2000 items, ranging from $20 to $2000, were sold to support different charities through Donna Karan’s Urban Zen program.
