Fashion Week Round-Up
Milan Fashion Week happened February 16 to 22. The fashion week staples like Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Gucci, Fendi, Marni, and DSQUARED2 performed predictably well. Prada provided a lacy (and racy) look while Just Cavalli and Agatha Ruiz De La Prada paid homage to the 1960’s with youthful mismatched patterns.
Next up, London Fashion Week! Erdem and Peter Jensen played with colour, volume and a wide variety of silhouettes. Tartans made a comeback in collections by House of Holland and Basso and Brook.
Oui, mes amis. C'est Paris. Paris Fashion Week featured Vivienne Westwood’s layered ethnic tribal prints,
Yohji Yamamoto’s brilliant burnt orange, and the fabulous, outside of the box designs by Tsumori Chisato, Viktor & Rolf, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
