Don’t Steal My Sunshine

While L.A. Fashion Week may have come and gone, experts are still questioning the state of Hollywood’s fashion industry. Just when designers like Sue Wong, Kevan Hall, and Ed Hardy were making a name for the Los Angeles fashion scene, they opted not to show fall collections at L.A. Fashion Week. Who replaced the gaps in the line-up? Celebrities-turned-designers like Lauren Conrad from The Hills, Nicky Hilton, and the Pussycat Dolls. Say what?

Remember two years ago when Mark Badgley and James Mischka (the masterminds behind the Badgley Mischka label) closed down the boutique on Rodeo? Times appear to be better now as the dynamic duo recently opened a new boutique in West Hollywood at Sunset Plaza. At the opening party, right-hand gal Teri Hatcher was absent from the soiree and busy filming Desperate Housewives now that the writers’ strike is over. Lisa Edelstein from House, Julie Benz from Dexter, and L.A. stylist Fati Parsia all showed up to lust over the luxe label.

Instyle presented the Get Hollywood Glam party at the Bebe store in Beverly Hills. Celebrity personalities like Vanessa Williams, Kiersten Warren, Becki Newton, and Greg Scott attended the party.
